Combining technology, design and a dash of psychology, user experience (UX) design is the process of analysing and solving user problems using layout and other guided solutions.
If you're a practical person with a eye for creative, design-led solutions, a career as a usability designer could be ideal for you.
This course is ideal for self-taught beginners who may have some prior experience with UX but would like to formalise their knowledge or consolidate their core skill base.
The User Experience Design program will enable you to apply best practices as you analyse problems and create effective designs through sitemaps, userflows, and wireframes. It will teach you to create and communicate solutions to business problems that meet customer goals while using well known and practised navigation principles.
After successful completion of the User Experience Design course, participants can apply for roles such as UX designer and usability designer as well as some web developer and web architect roles.
There are no entry requirements for this course.
This course runs for 2 hours per week, for 12 weeks in Sydney and Melbourne.
