Bring together Eastern wisdom and the healing power of touch with a Diploma in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) Remedial Massage (HLT52115), also known as An Mo Tui Na. Learn about yin and yang, body meridians and how touching the right points can provide relief for injuries and illness.
Traditional Chinese therapeutic massage is an integral part of traditional Chinese medicine, and is a technique that stimulates acupressure points and meridians. It assists with the treatment of musculoskeletal conditions, provides relief from pains and spasms, improves the function of tendons, bones and joints, and promotes overall health and wellbeing.
The Diploma of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) Remedial Massage provides training in all aspects of TCM massage. You will learn not only about remedial massage therapy, but also about Chinese acupressure, philosophy, anatomy and physiology. Additionally, there is an emphasis on
communication, clinical medicine and business management to help you apply your skills to the workplace.
Upon successful completion of the Diploma in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) Remedial Massage, graduates will have all the skills to provide TCM remedial massage treatments to clients with or without specific needs such as injury management, rehabilitation, palliative care, aged care, women and children. They may also work in conjunction with practitioners qualified in other areas of TCM.

- Chinese Remedial Massage Practitioner
- Massage Practitioner

For entry into the Diploma courses, you will need to:
- meet any specified course entry requirements; AND
- provide a copy of your Senior Secondary Certificate of Education (i.e. a Year 12 qualification); OR
- achieve an Exit Level 3 score within the Australian Core Skills Framework assessments in reading and maths, which will show that you have the capability to be successful in the course. This is done through two short tests as a part of your enrolment process.
Course duration is dependent on study mode.
Online students can study full-time to complete in 96 weeks or part-time to complete in 192 weeks under a structured program.
Students wishing to study via classroom delivery can study full-time to complete this qualification in 48 weeks, or part-time to complete in 96 weeks.
Students will have to complete mandatory vocational placement of 200 hours.
