The Diploma of Sound Production is ideal for amateur musicians and DJs who are looking to formalise their skills and learn new tricks.
The course focuses on the basic components of audio production and the music industry, advancing students' knowledge and establishing a fundamental skill base to facilitate further learning.
The industry-focused diploma can serve either as a career pathway or as a pathway to higher education with the option to transfer into the Bachelor of Audio Production with recognition of prior learning (RPL) on completion of the course.
Upon successful completion of the Diploma of Sound Production, graduates can apply for a range of positions including, but not limited to:

As a minimum, prospective students are expected to have completed an Australian Year 12 or equivalent qualification or completed a Certificate II (or higher) level qualification under the Australian Qualification Framework.
Special consideration may be extended towards mature age candidates aged over 21 years.
