This qualification will provide you with foundational knowledge in project management tools and techniques and the skills to plan, execute and close a project.
The Certificate IV in Project Management is ideal for practising project team members, recently appointed project managers, aspiring project managers and business and technical professionals who work in a project environment and require a more in-depth knowledge of project management.
This qualification will enable students to develop an appreciation of the project management discipline, project management methodologies and the roles required to support project management in various industries.
Upon successful completion of the Certificate IV in Project Management, graduates can apply for roles such as:
- Project coordinator
- Project officer
- Project team member
- Project assistant
- Project or program administrator
There are no entry requirements for this course, however you may be more comfortable undertaking this course if you have prior knowledge and/or experience of project management or have a business or other related qualification at Certificate III level such as the Certificate III in Business.
This course will take the average learner 8 hours a week to complete over 12 months, based on 48 weeks of participation. Completion of this course in 6 months is considered full-time participation. Learners with industry experience and knowledge may find they will complete more rapidly.
