The course prepares graduates with a multitude of skills to stage a successful function which not only fits an organisation’s objectives and business culture, but also delivers this within a budget. It includes event industry knowledge, developing and maintaining databases and support for event staging.
Graduates from the Certificate III in Events course can apply for event support roles such as events co-ordinator, events assistant, and events administrator or equivalent positions that may carry a different name in specific industries.
For entry into the Certificate III in Events, you need to:
- have completed Australian Year 10 or equivalent; OR
- achieve and Exit level 3 score with the Australian Core Skills Frame work assessments in reading and maths, which will show that you have the capability to be successful in the course. This is done through two short tests as part of your enrolment process.
