The TAE40110 Certificate IV in Training and Education qualification reflects the roles of individuals delivering training and assessment services in the vocational education and training (VET) sector

Via the UPGRADE you will potentially receive national recognition for 5 units of competency based on your existing TAA40104 qualification (evidence required). The remaining 5 units of competency can be delivered via a blended face to face or via flexible delivery modes i.e. electronic or correspondence.

For example if you have completed an AAMC Training Group TAA40101 Certificate of Training and Assessment; you will have completed 14 units of competency of which you can apply for National Recognition for the following five (5) of TAE40110 units of competency that are deemed equivalent.

• TAEDEL401A Plan, organise and deliver group-based learning
• TAEDEL402A Plan, organise and facilitate learning in the workplace
• TAEDEL301A Provide work skill instruction

The successfully completion of the following units of competency within the TAE40110 Certificate of Training and Assessment will be required to obtain your certificate;

• TAEASS401A Plan assessment activities and processes
• TAEASS502A Design and develop assessment tools
• TAEDES401A Design and develop learning programs
• TAEDES402A Use training packages and accredited courses to meet client needs
• TAEASS301A Contribute to assessment

The student’s achievement of each unit of competency is assessed by their completion of workbook based activities consisting of several assignments; questions and observation of practical demonstration of competency, where required.
