Course overview

Reflexology is an alternative therapy that involves the physical act of applying pressure to the feet, hands, or ears with specific thumb, finger, and hand techniques without the use of oil or lotion.

This qualification provides competence in reflexology practice and covers the general provision of reflexology treatment as well as treatment for clients with specific needs such as palliative care and aged care. Practitioners at this level may be self-employed as independent practitioners or work in a large health service and may supervise other reflexologists.

    Course structure

    This course requires the completion of all subjects listed below, plus two electives. In addition, students must complete or hold a current Senior First Aid certificate at the time of graduation or course completion.
