course overview
Aromatherapy is the systematic use of volatile plant oils known as essential oils. It is a form of complementary therapy and is used for the treatment or prevention of disease. The therapy is designed to treat the whole person and not just the symptom or disease by assisting the body's natural ability to balance, regulate, heal and maintain itself.
Aromatherapy graduates generally enter clinical practice either alone or as a partner in a health care clinic. Other exciting career opportunities are available in education, community health care services settings, social welfare, sales, manufacturing, and health retreats.
