Course overview
This course is for people supervising food preparation. You will learn to follow workplace hygiene procedures and to apply food safety procedures. These competencies from the SIT07 Tourism, Hospitality & Events and SIR07 Retail Services Training Packages meet the training requirements for Food Safety Supervisors which come into effect in April 2010.

What you must do to complete the course
The course structure below shows what you must do to complete this course. units/modules are arranged in groups and sometimes also in subgroups.
You must complete each group as specified as well as following the course completion instructions. If a course contains optional groups there will statement at the top of the course indicating how many you must do. At the top of any group containing optional subgroups there will be a statement saying how many you must do.
Group 1 CORE
One optional subgroup must be completed.
Subgroup one contains 2 units of competency from the SIT07 Hospitality,
Tourism and Events Training Package. Both units must be completed.
Subgroup two contains 1 unit of competency from the SIR07 Retail Services
Training Package. One unit must be completed.

At least 1 and no more than 2 module/units must be completed
