This course provides basic skills in the administration and maintenance of a computer local area network.

You will acquire skills in the basic use of a range of technologies and with these competencies could provide basic diagnostic support to people using computers in an organisation.

NSW School Certificate or equivalent.

Articulation

There are several vendor courses that may be integrated into this qualification. When you finish this course, you may be eligible for advanced standing in several Information Technology Certificate III, IV and Diploma courses including Networking or Websites. This stream provides a natural progression into the Certificate IV in Information Technology (Networking) ICA40405.

Early Exit Points

Depending on your choice of electives you may be eligible to receive the award of Certificate II in Information Technology (ICA20105).
