Gaining a Government role is generally a longer process than non-government roles.

The Australian Public Service consists of a large number of organisations, each focuses on specific areas such as communication, defence, finance, environment, education and training, health and community services, workplace relations, immigration, science, tourism, transport.

Whilst some roles do not require qualifications it is certainly advised that you will have a better chance of securing a role if you have skills, knowledge and experience in your preferred focus area.

Breaking into the legal industry can be a daunting prospect. Paralegal and office administration work is a great place to start your journey.
