Course Overview
This course which is on the ASIC approved register covers the requirements for providing advice in Investments and Superannuation and is RG146 compliant. It also includes areas relating to taxation, disclosure, compliance, investments and retirement income streams. Superannuation and Managed Investment advice can be either general advice or personal advice, this course covers both.
Completion of this course will allow you to give your clients advice in this area, provided you are an accredited authorised representative of an AFSL Licence holder. Some dealer groups (AFSL Licence holders) may also require you to complete the Diploma of Financial Services (Financial Planning) FNS50804 (DFS1) and the other related Advice in modules being Advice in Life Insurance (DFS2) and Advice in Derivative and Securities (DFS3).

AAMC offers flexible options for your learning, to suit business lifestyles and preferred learning styles, meeting the needs of individual learners and complying with workplace planning issues for companies.
This course is delivered face to face in our classroom, online or by correspondence.
National recognition
AAMC proudly recognises the qualifications and Statements of Attainment issued by other Registered Training Organisations (RTOs). If you have already commenced and completed some of the units of competency outlined in this program you simply need to advise us of this, provide a copy of your certificates and you will automatically receive recognition for those units. That is, you will not need to redo them. We will provide you with a fee commensurate to the completion of the remaining units only.
Course duration
AAMC allows six months for completion of all its courses. Within this framework, timescales are dependent on your commitment, motivation and other life priorities and activities. For some people this may be a matter of days or weeks, for others it may be the full six months.
