Lean for Leaders

Overview

"People don’t deliberately come to work to do a bad job – it’s broken processes that prevent people from maximising their talent and the business from maximising efficiency and optimising customer experience". This axiom is at the core of the thinking of a Leader in Lean Six Sigma.

Lean for Leaders provides participants not only with the problem-solving tools found in the DMAIC method to fix broken processes but the collaborative tools needed to engage the right stakeholders at the right time. Ask any improvement team what their biggest challenge is and the answer is always an emphatic "getting the change management piece right!"

Lean for Leaders is a combination of the data and process analysis tools and people management tools needed to assure successful Lean Six Sigma improvement projects. You will walk away with a sound understanding on how to change processes the Lean way and how to coach the people charged with realising the change.

You will practice and hone your skills in managing stakeholders by undertaking a computer based simulation of a Lean process improvement project throughout the second day.

Certification

Your participation will be acknowledged by awarding you a Lean Champion certificate following successful completion of the two day program. This is a highly recognisable qualification amongst Lean practitioners.
