Making the connection between emotional Intelligence, effective communication and leadership

To build relationships and sustain stellar performance, leaders need to understand that the journey starts within themselves by developing self-awareness (self expression and managing their own emotions) and continues outwardly in how they impact and influence others.

This program will take you on a journey from increased self-awareness to become a more influential communicator and effective leader. This program will have a lasting impact on the way you relate to, and communicate with, other people.

The skills you learn will be equally effective whether you are speaking to thousands or working with a team of six.

This course is Designed for

Those in a leadership role requiring awareness of personal impact and the ability to demonstrate influence and engagement skills to lead others and motivate groups.

Self awareness, self expression, self-confidence

Presence, empathy, appreciating difference, listening

Self assessment: understanding personal impact, both negative and positive

Managing disempowering behaviours in yourself

Developing a personal leadership style

Influencing and motivating groups

Use of voice and stance to influence

The strategic use of story telling to influence others

This program offers a unique learning approach, including one-on-one performance coaching, small group workshops, video feedback and experiential theatre-based activities that achieve remarkable results.

This program is supported by the AGSM Executive Programs e-learning platform. Participants are asked to access this on-line site. Establishand share your learning goals and undertake some relevant pre-reading.

Denise Weinreis - Co-director

Denise is a specialist in coaching executives and project teams to enhance personal energy, leadership and teamwork. For the past 15years, Denise has worked as a trainer and coach in a range of industries including aviation, construction, engineering, health services and manufacturing
