Entry Requirements

Certificate III qualification in an events-related area including:

  • Certificate III in Business, Certificate III in Entertainment, Certificate III in Hospitality, Certificate III in Museums and Libraries, Certificate III in Music, Certificate III in Sport and Recreation or Certificte III in Tourism.
  • OR Have held paid or voluntary employment experience at an operational, coordination or management level. As a minimum, employment experience must reflect the full scope and range of competencies in a Certificate III qualification.
  • Articulation

    Learners who successfully complete this program are able to articulate with and receive credits for relevant units of competency from other qualifications in the Tourism, Hospitality and Events Training Package (SIT07). When you finish this course you can gain articulation into SIT60207 Advanced Diploma of Events (18076).

    recognition of prior learning

    If you have completed other relevant training you may be eligible to have units of competency from previous training counted towards completion for this course. Talk to your teacher or workplace trainer if you think you may be eligible for recognition for units previously completed.
