In the Thomson Education Direct Web Page Design course, you will become familiar with the Macromedia® Dreamweaver® MX interface. You will be introduced to working with tables, importing content from Microsoft® Word and Excel, creating and editing images, checking cross-browser compatibility, importing Macromedia® Flash® text and Macromedia® Flash® movies, and much more. Not only will you become familiar with the M Macromedia® Dreamweaver® MX interface, you will learn to use tools that will allow you to easily create Websites.

Should you choose to further your study, you could choose a career as a Web Page Designer, Web Developer, or you could maintain existing sites. You could also use your skills for personal use, such as displaying your CV on a self-promotional Website or even creating a site related to your personal interests.

The Thomson Education Direct Web Page Design course is a computer based course, that is PC compatible only. It is therefore recommended that you have access to a PC before enrolling into this course, as well as the Macromedia® Dreamweaver® MX software. As part of this course you will be required to submit your post assessment results upon completion of each of the self-assessing CDs.
