The Course At A Glance

Vehicle Loading Course develops a better understanding of the safety requirements, operating procedures and principles required to safely load freight onto road transport vehicles. It is important to minimize injury and damage to freight whilst ensuring the safety of other people involved in the transportation and the general public. Legislative requirements are an important aspect of the course.

Duration And Trainer/Client Ratio

Half day for a total of four (4) hours at 1 : 6 (maximum)

Entry Requirements/Designed For

There are no specific pre-requisites for this course.

The course is designed for currently employed company operators or persons wishing to be involved in loading and unloading vehicles in a warehousing, distribution or freight transportation operation.

Certification

Trainees completing this course will be issued with a Statement of Attainment for

Unit TDTD497B - Load and Unload Goods/Cargo, which forms part of the training package TDT30202 Certificate III in Transport & Distribution (Road Transport).
