Heavy Vehicle Licence Testing Services - Victoria - Full Testing

The Course At A Glance

To provide Testing Services for all Heavy Vehicle categories of Light, Medium and Heavy Rigid as well as Heavy Combination vehicles. It is designed for people who do not require any training from Training as part of the service.

Note: Test only does not apply for Multi Combination vehicles.

Important Information

• Bookings are essential for all Licence Tests and full fees must be paid seven (7) days prior to any test taking place.
• Failure to attend will result in forfeiture of full fee.
• All participants must bring their Drivers Licence with their current address shown.
• All participants must provide primary proof of identification prior to test commencing.
• Must currently possess a Victorian Issued Drivers Licence
• A VicRoads clearance must be provided for any medical condition - Applicants should check their requirements with VicRoads prior to making a booking for a test.
• Testing will be carried out as per the Current VicRoads Guide to Heavy Vehicle Licence Assessment criteria.
• Client vehicles - Must be roadworthy, rear window blocked or a headboard and HC must have ability to uncouple the trailer

Pre-requisites

Light or Medium Rigid Truck Licence Test:

Participants must have held a Car licence for a minimum of 1 year.

Heavy Rigid Truck Licence Test:

Participants must have held a Car licence for a minimum of 2 years.

Heavy Combination Truck Licence Test:

Participants must have held either a Medium or Heavy Rigid Truck Licence for a minimum of 1 year. (KT4 Theory Test is not required).

Cost

There are three (3) parts to the test.  Each test can be taken separately:

• DE3546 - KT 4 Theory 30 mins
• DE3547 - Skills Test 30 mins
• DE3548 - Drive Test 1 hour
