The Course At A Glance

To provide the knowledge and skills required for successful candidates to become an authorised Heavy Vehicle Licence Assessment Officer within the VicRoads Accredited Provider System.

Duration And Trainer/Client Ratio

New Testers: Five (5) days at a ratio of 1:4 (maximum) $1050 GST Free

or

Re-Accreditation: Two (2) days at a ratio of 1:3 (maximum) $755 per person GST Free

Entry Requirements/Designed For

Course Applicants must have a current Victorian unrestricted Heavy Combination Licence.

ALL Applicants for an Authorised Tester Number must satisfy VicRoads that:

• They are employed by a VicRoads accredited Heavy Vehicle Service Provider
• They are a ‘fit and proper’ person (a Police check will be made via VicRoads)
• They have successfully completed the approved training course (this course)

The course is designed and approved by VicRoads as providing the skills and knowledge for Driver Trainers to become authorised Heavy Vehicle Licence Assessment Officers.
