The Productivity Places Program
The Productivity Places Program will provide targeted training to address skill shortages currently being experienced in many industries. The program will deliver better training outcomes for individuals and also ensure training better suits the needs of employers.
What does it cost?
If you are looking for work, the Australian Government will fully fund training under the program.
Am I eligible for a training place?
To be eligible for a training place:
- you need to be currently looking for work
- need to be an Australian citizen or permanent resident of Australia
- be over the age of 15.
Note: full-time students and people who are self employed are not eligible for the program.

- Certificate III in Aged Care Work (Productivity Places Program)
- Certificate III in Aged Care Work - Assistant in Nursing (Productivity Places Program)
- Certificate III in Disability Work (Productivity Places Program)
- Certificate II In Hospitality (Hospitality Operations) (Productivity Places Program)
- Certificate IV in Hospitality - Supervision (Productivity Places Program)
- Certificate III in Childrens Services (Productivity Places Program)
- Certificate II in Security Operations (Productivity Places Program)
- Certificate II in Transport and Logistics (Road Transport) (Productivity Places Program)
