Citrix MetaFrame XP: Deploying and Securing Applications over the web provides students with the knowledge and skills to configuration of web interface and secure access of applications over the web. The web interface is a web-based application deployment system this course covers how to leverage the centralised application management capabilities of Citrix server software with new techniques for web application deployment, resulting in a customised web-based application delivery mechanism.
Participants will learn how plan and design a secure web-enabled Citrix MetaFrame XP Presentation Server for Windows deployment, identify web interface and secure gateway architecture and components, install web interface and secure gateway and configure web interface and secure gateway to access applications over the Web.
MetaFrame XP administrators and Citrix Certified Enterprise Administrator (CCEA) candidates.
Completion of course (ECCTX-1211) Citrix MetaFrame 1.8 to Citrix MetaFrame XP - CCA Upgrade, or course (ECCTX-1222BB) Citrix MetaFrame XP for Windows Administration and knowledge or experience in systems/network administration in Microsoft Windows 2000 environment, and Administration of Citrix MetaFrame XP for Windows. As well as knowledge in administration of application deployment and user authentication across multiple farms and of IIS/Apache server
