Released in 2006, Internet Explorer 7 is the newest version of Microsoft's popular Web browser. Whether you've recently upgraded or been using it since its release, this one-level course will help you make the most of Internet Explorer. 
Course highlights include coverage of the new Tabs feature, the phishing filter, and RSS feeds.

Detailed Course Outline

Getting Started To begin, we will discuss some basic Internet-related terms. We will also learn how to open and close Internet Explorer and how to use the interface. 

Browsing the Web Participants will learn how to access Web sites, navigate through the Web, use the new Tabs feature, search for information, copy information from a Web page, save pictures, and print information. 

Favorites This section will focus on how to create, use, and organise favorites. 

Security This section will focus on various Internet security measures, including secure sites, sites requiring login, Internet Explorer's phishing filter and pop-up blocker, and security tools that you can install to enhance protection (such as anti-virus software). We will also look at how to import and export favorites and cookies. 

Advanced Topics To conclude, participants will learn how to change Internet Explorer options, clear history, use RSS feeds, and manage plug-ins and add-ons.
