Course Overview
This course provides students with skills and knowledge to architect enterprise search solutions with Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007. After completing this course, students will learn to recognise and apply architectural patterns to search scenarios and to tune and optimise enterprise search solutions. Furthermore, students will be skilled in planning and developing the capacity for enterprise search solutions and architect solutions that include line-of-business data. In addition, this course will allow students to architect and develop search solutions based on Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007.
Who Should Consider This Course?
This course is intended for experienced technical and solution architects who have a minimum of four years experience with Microsoft Office SharePoint Server products and technologies.
Course Outline
Prerequisite
Before attending this course, students must have at least two years working with SharePoint Products and Technologies as either a solution or technical architect, and at least two years practical experience as a lead developer, or providing guidance to lead developers in development projects for SharePoint Products and Technologies. Students must also have at least six months experience as a technical and solution architect and have led consulting engagements that focussed on the search technologies of Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007 where gathering and analysing customer experiences was involved. Students also need to have completed Microsoft courses 5060 and 5061.
