Course Overview

The Certificate III in Business is a qualification for those seeking to develop more specialised technical skills and knowledge for working in a range of business environments. This qualification is ideally suited for those seeking to advance their career in the Business Services Industry. Please note that the assessment tasks contain within this course will require a workplace observation sign off by a manager/supervisor.

The 12 units are delivered in face to face or flexible delivery modes. Each student’s achievement of each unit of competency is assessed by their completion of workbook based activities, written tests and project work.

This course is delivered through flexible/correspondence and practical apploication of competency through project work. Enrolled students are resourced with relevant lesson materials. All students are provided with assessment resource materials that are appropriate to the training delivery mode, i.e. unit training and assessment guides, learning manuals, units of competency and assessment guidelines.

    After achieving the BSB30107 Certificate III in Business, candidates may undertake the BSB40207 Certificate IV in Business, a qualification for those who work in a range of business environments and who provide leadership and guidance in relation to specific technical knowledge and skills, or a range of other Certificate IV qualifications.

    National recognition

    AAMC proudly recognises the qualifications and Statements of Attainment issued by other Registered Training Organisations (RTOs). If you have already commenced and completed some of the units of competency outlined in this program you simply need to advise us of this, provide a copy of your certificates and you will automatically receive recognition for those units. That is, you will not need to redo them. We will provide you with a fee commensurate to the completion of the remaining units only.

    Course duration

    AAMC allows six months for completion of all its courses. Within this framework, timescales are dependent on your commitment, motivation and other life priorities and activities. For some people this may be a matter of days or weeks, for others it may be the full six months.
