Course summary
This qualification provides students with the skills and knowledge to work within a selected specialty area of the vehicle body repairs within the automotive industry.
This program has several pathways of delivery for either traineeship or pre-apprenticeship.
Traineeship study will cover pathways such as: Paint Preparation, Panel Preparation, Vehicle Glazing, Vehicle Presentation and Vehicle Dismantling.
Pe-apprenticeship study will cover the pathways of: Paint Preparation and Panel Preparation.
Entry requirements
Year 10 or equivalent (desirable). Target group: Trainees
Traineeship entry:
A learner must be employed as a trainee and must have signed a registered training contract.
School-based entry is also welcome.
Pre-apprenticehsip entry:
A learner must be a minimum of 15 years of age and have successful completion of year ten and satisfactory achievements in English, Maths and one other subject.
