Course overview
This course is for people who want to develop the knowledge and skills to effectively operate in a wide range of records management across industry sectors. You can select electives from the areas of customer service, general administration, project management, sustainability, risk management, innovation, management, information management and workplace effectiveness. You will be able to evaluate and select records management systems from a variety of technological solutions and make sound and reliable management decisions. When you finish this course you will be eligible for membership of the Records Management Association of Australia and the Association for Information and Image Management.

When you finish this course you may be eligible to do BSB60807 Advanced Diploma of Recordkeeping (17869), a qualification for those wishing to develop specialised technical recordkeeping skills, or a range of other Advanced Diploma qualifications.

Preferred pathways for candidates considering this qualification include: After achieving the BSB41707 Certificate IV in Recordkeeping or other relevant qualification/s Providing evidence of competency in the majority of units required for the BSB41707 Certificate IV in Recordkeeping or other relevant qualification/s With vocational recordkeeping experience, but without a formal qualification.
Examples of indicative job roles for candidates seeking entry based upon their vocational experience include: Records and Information Officer Records and Information Clerk.
